It was our wedding anniversary, a day I had always cherished, but this time, it turned into a nightmare.
That was when my then husband and I got into a huge fight..;
I came home early, hoping to surprise my husband,
only to find him cheating with a younger, thinner woman, which led us splitting up.
He was complaining that I was so flabby, tired, and slow that
I was ruining his “Best Years”…. And I didn’t take it well
But later on, as I sat alone in my new 2 bedroom apartment ( we ended up selling the house )
I realized…. He had a point.
I was Not the active, energetic, happy woman he first married.
In fact, I could hardly recognize myself in the mirror anymore.
So, that’s when I scheduled an appointment with my doctor and made a commitment to myself.
I was going to take my life back.
I’d seen my doctor every year and had the usual blood tests done, because of my weight.
I was miserable and dipressed. I wasn’t very active, and I couldn’t do most of what I wanted to do..
Following the new diet plan my doctor gave me was a real battle of the wills.
Some day’s I’d come home feeling stressed out and unable to ressist the urge to binge eat.
Despite the remorse I felt afterwards, progress was slower than a sloth on a leisurely stroll.
Then in the hopes of shedding some pounds and toning my body,
I joined a nearby gym. I put in a lot of effort, feeling sore and exhausted after every workout,
But progress was excruciatingly slow.
I tried everything, yoga, fast walking, even aerobics classes, hoping to find something that would work.
One day my personal trainer said “ Abs are made in the kitchen”,
I went back to focusing on my diet.
But, despite my best efforts, the results just didn’t seem to show up.
I started to lose and wondered if all of this hard work was even worth it.
As if it was a sign from above, something strange happened to me while I was at the mall.
I came across a man and a woman, who seemed to have just gone on a shopping spree.
The woman was carrying so many bags that I could barely see her face.
From the looks of it, they had purchased an entire new wardrobe, and it was all for her.
It took me a second, but I soon realized that she was my old High School friend Christina.
However, she was now half the size she used to be!
Christina was always self-concious about her weight.
She would hide in the back of group photos because of her ‘puffiness’.
But then, she recognized me too and approached me.
She asked how I was, and when I started talking, I couldn’t hold back my tears.
Once I explained everything, they exchanged a knowing glance,
And Christina wrote something on a piece of paper.
She handed it to me with a sly grin and said that it would change my life forever.
Later, when I got to my car, I stared out the window, I knew I only had two choices:
1 Continue to worry about what to eat how much to exercise and how to hide my shame.
2 Take the time to watch the whole video Christina just shared with me about this “Simple Trick” and see if it could transform me too.
I went with #2 option, choosing to watch the whole video and see if it could work for me. Besides, I had nothing to lose.
I had no idea that this trick would transform my life in ways I never thuought possible.
I followed her advice to the letter and I started to see results right away.
My body went through a complete transformation that I never imagined was possible.
I went from 281 pounds to 254, then 215, then 191 the down to 147.
I was completely shocked by how fast and effective this simple trick was!
To think an easy 10-second addition to your day could change your entire life is pretty impressive.
You see, we don’t actually have to work out for hours a day, or do crazy fasting, or eat nothing but rice cakes and kale chips to look amazing.
Believe me I have triedevery food plan out there.
For the first time ever I enjoyed shopping for clothes! Shopping used to make me feel chubby and unatrractive.
I would go home depressed not buying a single thing.
Then I would squeeze into my old stuff and feel even more miserable.
I have so much confidence now! The college me is back.
I loved her then and I love her even more now!
What’s even better? My last tripto the doctor confirmed what I had hoped for…. My heart was healthier than ever,
I dropped so much weight my doctor complemented my determination.
I told him what did it for me and he said to keep doing it.
What’s shoking for me is that, I didn’t have to diet, starve or even cut my favourite foods, Incridible right?
Indulge in cookies and brownies whenever I want
Love what I see in the mirror every day
Only stay as active as I went to (pretty much just slow walks in the forest…)
Finally get my numbers under control
Escape the endless workouts and diets that FAILED ME before…
There’s only one way to find out for sure… but I can tell you this:
At first, I was really skeptical too because I had already tried out so many different things to get my weight in check,
But this method turned out to be the real deal – the only one that actually worked for me!
I thought about it. But something told me to go ahead and try it.
